Superior Labor x Nomado Store Paint Shoulder Bag Large (6 colours)

We've always had a soft spot for the popular Small Paint Bag, one of our bestselling TSL items. Beautifully-made and cute-looking, it's only disadvantage is it's inherent compactness.

We also felt that there was a need for a Unisex messenger bag or satchel in the Superior Labor range. Putting these 2 concepts together during a design session in Okayama last year at TSL HQ, we also decided to upgrade the internals.

This Paint Shoulder Bag Large is a scaled up version of the classic Small Paint bag. The Large is sized for portability but is large enough to offer convenient storage.

We decided to improve the storage options offered by the standard Small Bag. The Large is fitted with the usual double inside pocket for your smartphone, wallet and other sundries, but we added a full height pocket, which is large enough for a 12 inch MacBook, regular size Traveler's Notebook and more. We also added pen loops to the outside of the large pocket. The main compartment offers lots of space for larger items. Use a Croots medium camera insert to transform it into a beautiful camera bag.

Every Paint Bag Large is fitted with a solid brass "Lucky Turtle" logo badge, which is made for us by The Superior Labor in Japan and is discreetly hidden under the top flap.

These bags are made from the finest Kurashiki canvas- only 150 feet can be woven on shuttle looms per day, raw brass hardware - produced in a traditional casting factory in downtown Tokyo and vegetable – tanned Japanese leather – slowly and carefully tanned with mimosa extract. The paint stripe is applied by hand in the Superior Labor workshop, a beautifully restored old schoolhouse.

The robust canvas will become supple with use, the natural leather will darken and take on its own patina.

Note on pockets: with the exception of the black canvas/tan paint bag, pockets are in a contrasting colour, back canvas with red pockets, khaki & beige canvas with navy pockets.
