Luxury goatskin leather B6 notebook cover offering incredible value for money.

The design of the Passepartout notebook cover is the result of customer demand for a simplified version of the popular Yokohama cover design and a desire on AP's side to offer a range of products at a more affordable price level without compromising on quality.

Simplifying the design by removing the card pockets, pen loop and strap and the fact that the covers are actually handmade in India has helped drastically reduce production costs. The Passepartout design is otherwise identical to the B6 Yokohama cover.

The workshop in which they are crafted by hand has worked for some of the most prominent European and American luxury brands and has a well established reputation for quality.

Indian goatskin has long been a popular material with luxury brands. This leather is very supple and has an exquisite natural fine grain. This specific goatskin is carefully selected and has been custom dyed for Ateliers Phileas in their signature colour, Aiiro or Japanese Indigo. Ai-iro is an elegant blue with hints of green and grey, which looks lighter or darker depending on lighting conditions. The Passepartout cover is only available in this colour.

AP chose the B6 format for its practicality, smaller than A5, but bigger than A6. The Passepartout range will include B6 Japanese paper notebooks designed to fit the covers perfectly. Our B6 Tomoe River notebooks are also a great fit.
